The SEC instituted proceedings on whether to approve the WisdomTree bitcoin ETF application, effectively delaying any firm decision by a few months.
The review period for the application is now extended by 45 days from May 26.
The four investment firms listed a total of nine bitcoin and ethereum ETPs on the Euronext Paris stock exchange today.
The company’s application to list a bitcoin ETF in the U.S. is currently being reviewed by the SEC.
The bitcoin ETP goes live in Frankfurt while regulators in D.C. consider WisdomTree’s bitcoin ETF application.

Others applying to offer a bitcoin ETF in the U.S. include NYDIG, Valkyrie and VanEck.
